You can close a membership if you no longer want to attract new members or retain renewing members for that membership type. You can also pause (hide) a membership instead, which is useful for seasonal or periodic campaigns.
Note: Once you have closed a membership, it cannot be reopened without GiveNow's help. If you need a closed membership reopened, contact service@givenow.com.au.
Close a membership or type
- Log in to OrgHQ.
- Go to Manage memberships, under Memberships in the left-hand menu.
- Locate the Active membership or membership type you want to close.
- Select Close from the dropdown menu to the right of the Edit button.
- Confirm that you wish to close the membership or type.
Note: Closing a membership will close all the types that belong to that membership. Closing a membership type will only close that one type from displaying on the purchase form.
