The hide and show function allows you to pause entire membership programs or individual membership types. This saves you from having to re-create annual or other periodic membership campaigns. You can hide a membership when you want to put a hold on new sign-ups and then show it again when you are ready to resume.
Note: Membership renewals for a hidden membership type will continue to process. If you change the membership name while it is hidden, the updated name will appear on future membership receipts.
Example: You offer a National Membership with the types Adult, Child, and Family. You can hide all National Memberships, or choose to hide only the National Membership for Adults for a time.
Hide a membership or type
- Log in to OrgHQ.
- Go to Manage memberships, under Memberships in the left-hand menu.
- Locate the Active membership or membership type you want to hide.
- Select Hide from the dropdown menu to the right of the Edit button.
- Confirm that you wish to hide the membership or type. It will now display as Hidden (Active) on the Manage Memberships page.
Note: Hiding a membership will hide all the types that belong to it. Hiding a membership type will only hide that one type from displaying on the purchase form.
Show a membership or type
- Log in to OrgHQ.
- Go to Manage memberships, under Memberships in the left-hand menu.
- Locate the Hidden (Active) membership or membership type you want to show.
- Select Show from the dropdown menu to the right of the Edit button.
- Confirm that you wish to show the membership or type.
Note: Showing a membership will show the membership itself but will not automatically show hidden membership types within it. Showing a membership type will only show that one type — if the overarching membership is still hidden, the type will not be visible for purchase on your public page.
