On the Pro plan, administrators can add, remove, and change permissions for users in your organisation's OrgHQ account. You can have unlimited users assigned as administrators, managers, or analysts at no additional cost. For details on what each role can do, see What are the different levels of user permissions in OrgHQ?
Note: On the Starter or Basic plans, your organisation can have only one user. See the Need help with access? section below if you need to change your administrator.
Add a user
- Log in to OrgHQ.
- Go to User permissions, located under Details in the left-hand menu.
- Select + Add New User at the top right of the screen.
- Enter the new user's email address and select their role (Administrator, Manager, or Analyst).
- Select Add.
The new user will receive an email invitation to access OrgHQ. If they do not already have a GiveNow account, they will be prompted to create one.
Change a user's permissions
- Log in to OrgHQ.
- Go to User permissions, located under Details in the left-hand menu.
- Select Change Permission next to the user you want to update.
- Select the new role and confirm your change by selecting Update.
Remove a user
- Log in to OrgHQ.
- Go to User permissions, located under Details in the left-hand menu.
- Select Remove Access to the right of the user you want to remove.
- Select Remove.
Need help with access?
If you need to change your OrgHQ administrator — for example, because the previous administrator has left your organisation, or you are on a Starter or Basic plan and cannot manage users yourself — contact GiveNow at service@givenow.com.au and we can help.
To help us process your request as quickly as possible, please include:
- Your organisation's name.
- The name and email address of the person who needs access.
- Their role at the organisation.
- Any context about why the current administrator is being replaced (for example, they have left the organisation).
Note: For security, GiveNow may need to verify that the new person is authorised to manage your organisation's account before making changes. This might include confirming their connection to the organisation through a public source such as your organisation's website or the ACNC register.
