The hide and show function allows you to temporarily pause ticket sales for an entire event or for individual ticket types. Tickets already sold remain valid. You can show the event again at any time to resume sales.
If you want to permanently close your event instead, see How do I close my event? If you have already sold tickets and need to cancel the entire event, see How do I cancel my event, if I have sold tickets?
Hide an event or ticket type
- Log in to OrgHQ.
- Go to Manage events, located under Events in the left-hand menu.
- Locate the Active event or ticket type you want to hide.
- Select Hide from the dropdown menu to the right of the Edit button.
- Confirm that you wish to hide the event or ticket type. It will now display as Hidden (Active) on the Manage Events page.
Note: Hiding an event will hide the entire listing from GiveNow. Hiding a ticket type will only hide that one type from the purchase form. To hide a ticket type, first expand the event to reveal the ticket types listed underneath.
Show an event or ticket type
- Log in to OrgHQ.
- Go to Manage events, located under Events in the left-hand menu.
- Locate the Hidden (Active) event or ticket type you want to show.
- Select Show from the dropdown menu to the right of the Edit button.
- Confirm that you wish to show the event or ticket type.
Note: Showing an event will show the event itself but will not automatically show hidden ticket types within it. Showing a ticket type will only show that one type — if the overarching event is still hidden, the ticket type will not be visible for purchase on your public page.
