Events can be edited in OrgHQ by Administrators and Managers.
Whether you can edit an event depends on the status. Approved and Hidden (Active) events can both be edited. When an event is Pending status (submitted by your team and waiting for a GiveNow staff member to review) you cannot make changes.
Edit an Event
- Login to OrgHQ.
- Go to Manage Events, located under Events in the OrgHQ menu.
- Select Edit for the event you want to update.
- Work your way through the following sections and then select Save and Continue:
- General
- Name
- Summary
- Description
- Topic
- Type
- Target Audience
- Language
- Accessibility
- Image
- Category
- GST (this cannot be edited once the event has been approved)
- Sessions
- Start
- End
- Timezone
- Location
- Address
- Tickets
- Name
- Description
- Price
- Maximum Available Tickets
- Supporter Limit
- Purchase Form
- Ticket contact details
- Form fields (this is where you can add customised questions; you can also add and manage Custom Questions in the Details navigation panel).
- Style (for Pro Plan organisations)
- Settings
- Receipt note
- Refunds
- Embed (for Pro Plan organisations).

- To keep your changes and continue to edit the Event, select Save. When you have edited all the fields you wish to change, select Save & Close.
