Administrators and managers can edit events in OrgHQ. Approved and Hidden (Active) events can both be edited. Pending memberships cannot be edited until they are reviewed and approved by GiveNow staff.
Edit an event
- Log in to OrgHQ.
- Go to Manage events, located under Events in the left-hand menu.
- Select Edit next to the event you want to update.
- Work your way through the following tabs as needed. Select Save to keep your changes and continue editing, or Save & Close when you are finished.
- General: Update the event name, summary, description, topic, type, target audience, language, accessibility, image, category, and session details (dates, times, location).
- Tickets: Configure ticket types, including name, description, price, maximum available tickets, and supporter limit.
- Purchase Form: Customise the form ticket holders fill out when purchasing, including contact details, custom questions, and styling (Pro plan only).
- Settings: Set preferences including receipt note, refund policy, and embed options (Pro plan only).
Note: The GST preference and refund policy cannot be changed once the event has been approved.
