How do I edit the suggested donation amounts?

One of the great features of GiveNow (on the Basic and Pro plans) is that you can customise the suggested donation amounts on GiveNow, or you can use our suggested amounts. 

Updating the suggested donation amounts is important, to reflect your organisation's needs as well as the time of year. For example, ALL organisations should be increasing the values of the suggested donation amounts during end of financial year giving as donors do give more at that time.

Edit suggested donation amounts

1. Login to OrgHQ.

2. Go to Manage Causes, located under Cause & Donations in the OrgHQ menu.

3. Select Edit for the cause to you want to update.
   4. Donation amounts customisation is done through the second tab Donation Form > Amount. Select Enable custom values which will allow the donation amounts to be edited. 

You will then be able to change the suggested donation amounts, and click Save for the values to sort into highest to lowest value order.

Note, the suggested donation amount minimum is $5 with a maximum of $100,000.

Pro and Basic Plan users can also select the default amount from the Default donation amount drop down list.

Add descriptions and images to suggested donation amounts

To add more context to your suggested donation amounts, you can add images and descriptions for each amount by going to 

1. Donation Form > Descriptions & images
2. Selecting Show descriptions and/or images with donation amounts.
3. You are then asked to populate each suggested amount with a:
   • Title, required
   • Description, though this text is optional, and
   • Image, where the default GiveNow logo image placeholder will appear unless you opt to "Choose file" and select a .png or .jpg from your local device.
