How do I hide or show a Cause?

You can hide or show a Cause by logging in to OrgHQ. This saves you from having to re-create annual or other periodic fundraising campaigns. You can hide a Cause when you want to pause new donations to it, and then update and show it when you are ready to re-commence fundraising.

Regular donations made to a hidden Cause will continue to process (however changing the Cause name will change the donation receipt, so this is worth taking into account).

Hide a Cause

1. Log in to OrgHQ. 
2. Go to Manage Causes, located under Causes & Donations in the OrgHQ menu.
3. Find the Approved Cause that you wish to hide.
4. Use the dropdown menu to the right of the Edit button and select Hide.
5. Confirm that you wish to hide the Cause.
6. The Cause will now display as Hidden Open on the Manage Causes dashboard.
   
   

Show a Cause

1. Log in to OrgHQ. 
2. Go to Manage Causes, located under Causes & Donations in the OrgHQ menu.
3. Locate the Hidden Open Cause that you wish to show.
4. Use the dropdown menu to the right of the Edit button and select Show.
