How do I add an offline amount to a CrowdRaiser?

If a CrowdRaiser has received donations outside of GiveNow (for example, cash or direct bank transfers), you can record the total on the CrowdRaiser's page in OrgHQ. The recorded amount is included in the CrowdRaiser's total raised figure and automatically rolls up to the parent cause's total.

Note: GiveNow cannot issue receipts for donations not processed through the platform. Offline donation amounts added in OrgHQ must be receipted by your organisation directly.

Add an offline amount to a CrowdRaiser

1. Log in to OrgHQ.

2. Go to View CrowdRaisers, under CrowdRaiser in the left-hand menu.

   

3. Select View next to the CrowdRaiser you want to update.
4. Scroll to the Offline amount section at the bottom of the page.

5. Enter the cumulative offline total in the Amount raised offline field.

   

6. Select Save. The date and your name will appear as a 'Last updated' line beneath the field.

Once saved, the offline amount is included in:

• The CrowdRaiser's total raised figure (shown on the CrowdRaiser page and the progress bar).
• The parent cause's total raised figure (included in the cause's total raised if the cause is set to display it).
• The CrowdRaiser's total in the embedded CrowdRaiser leaderboard, if you use one on your website.

Note: You can update the offline amount at any time. Each edit replaces the previous value with the new cumulative total — treat the field as a running total, not a per-donation log. Clearing the field returns the section to its empty state.

Note: Offline amounts can only be recorded by OrgHQ administrators, not by CrowdRaiser owners themselves. This keeps your organisation in control of what is reported and included in donor totals.
