Yes. The usual way to create a CrowdRaiser is for each supporter to create their own page from the live cause page on GiveNow — it only takes a few minutes.
However, if you have a large number of supporters who each need a unique CrowdRaiser page (for example, a school with hundreds of students), the GiveNow team can assist with a bulk upload. This is a free service and keeps the process time-efficient and well-controlled.
What information is required?
The GiveNow team will send you a spreadsheet template (CSV format) to complete. The required fields are:
- CrowdRaiser page name.
- First name.
- Last name.
- Email address (must be valid).
- Page text.
- Closing date and time.
- Target amount (if applicable).
For each spreadsheet, you can nominate one image for the cover photo, one for the profile picture, and one additional image (optional), as well as one YouTube video link (optional). These will be applied to all CrowdRaiser pages in the upload.
How does the import process work?
- Contact the GiveNow team at service@givenow.com.au to request the bulk upload template.
- Complete the spreadsheet with your supporter data. Ensure all email addresses are valid and dates follow the DD/MM/YYYY format.
- Submit the completed file to service@givenow.com.au at least five business days before you want the CrowdRaiser pages to go live. This allows time for the GiveNow team to review and process the upload.
- If you would like to align on a specific launch date (for example, to coordinate with a campaign kickoff), let us know when you submit the file.
- The GiveNow team will review the data and process the upload.
What happens next?
Once the upload is complete, each supporter will receive an automated email with a link to activate their CrowdRaiser page. The page will go live once the supporter selects the link in the email.
Note: If your cause has CrowdRaiser approval enabled, bulk-uploaded pages will still require approval before going live.
Supporters can then log in to MyGiving to edit their page, update images, and manage their CrowdRaiser independently.
