Before registering your organisation with GiveNow, gather the following documents and information. You will need them to complete the compliance wizard during registration.
- Your organisation's Australian Business Number (ABN).
- Certificate of Incorporation. If your organisation does not have one, you can upload your Constitution, AGM minutes, or a similar internal governance document.
- Proof of your authority to fundraise in each state where you plan to operate, or a valid reason for exemption. For more information, see fundraising legislation requirements.
Note: This is only required if you intend to accept donations on GiveNow. - Names and roles of your Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer. If your organisation is not registered with the ACNC, digital identity verification of these individuals is required.
- A digital copy of your logo and an image to use as a cover photo. Logos are best displayed as a square image, at least 130 × 130 px. Cover images use a 1:1.8 ratio, at least 460 × 828 px. For full details, see What are the image specifications for GiveNow?.
- Bank details:
- A digital copy of a bank statement or deposit slip showing your organisation's name, BSB, and account details on one page.
- Authorised signatories for the bank account, including their name, email address, and date of birth. This information is encrypted for security.
