How do I stop ticket sales for my upcoming event?

You can stop ticket sales for an event if you no longer want to sell tickets. To do this, place the item you no longer want to sell to "Hide" from new sales. 

Please note that there is a Hide/Show function available for both Events and ticket types, that allows you to pause/restart purchases of specific event tickets. 

If you have already sold tickets, to stop further ticket sales for an event:

1. Login to OrgHQ. 
2. Go to Manage Events, located under Events in the OrgHQ menu.
3. Find the Active Event that you wish to close.
4. Use the dropdown menu to the right of the Edit button and select Hide.
5. The Event or Type will now display as Hidden (Active) on the Manage Events dashboard. This indicates that the tickets sold remain valid, but no new sales can be made.

If you have not sold tickets you can close your event:

If you created an event in GiveNow, and have NOT sold any tickets, you can close the event before any ticket sales are made.

1. Login to OrgHQ. 
2. Go to Manage Events, located under Events in the OrgHQ menu.
3. Find the Active Event that you wish to close.
4. Use the dropdown menu to the right of the Edit button and select Close.The Event or Type will now display as Closed on the Manage Events dashboard.
