How do I hide or show a cause?

You can hide a cause when you want to pause new donations to it, and then show it again when you are ready to resume fundraising. This is useful for managing recurring or seasonal campaigns without having to re-create the cause each time.

Note: Regular donations made to a hidden cause will continue to process. If you change the cause name while it is hidden, the updated name will appear on future donation receipts.

Hide a cause

1. Log in to OrgHQ.
2. Go to Manage causes, under Cause & donations in the left-hand menu.
3. Locate the cause with an Approved status that you want to hide.
4. Select Hide from the dropdown menu to the right of the Edit button.
5. Confirm that you wish to hide the cause. The cause will now display as Hidden Open on the Manage causes page.
   

Show a cause

1. Log in to OrgHQ.
2. Go to Manage causes, under Cause & donations in the left-hand menu.
3. Locate the cause with a Hidden Open status that you want to show.
4. Select Show from the dropdown menu to the right of the Edit button.
