Creating a CrowdRaiser on GiveNow is quick and easy — no tech skills required. Just follow the steps below to personalise your fundraising page and start raising money for a cause you care about.
Step 1: Start your CrowdRaiser
On your favourite organisation's GiveNow cause page, select CrowdRaise now.
Step 2: Set up your page
- Enter your email address.
- Add a page title and create a custom URL.
- Choose up to three causes to support with your CrowdRaiser.
Step 3: Personalise your content
- Confirm if you're fundraising as an individual or a team.
- Update the suggested page text.
- Set your fundraising goal, closing date, and whether to display a countdown.
Step 4: Add your visuals
Make your page stand out with a few key visuals:
- Upload a cover photo (this is required).
- Add a profile picture.
- Include an additional image and a video (one video per page — channels are not supported).
Step 5: Create an account
If you were not logged in during the CrowdRaiser creation process, you will be asked to enter your name and choose a password to create a MyGiving account.
Step 6: Preview and submit
- Preview your CrowdRaiser.
- Select Back if you need to make changes.
- When you're ready, select Submit.
This will send a verification email to the email address you provided. Once you click the link inside, your CrowdRaiser will go live immediately.
Managing your CrowdRaiser
After verifying your email, you can log in to your MyGiving account at any time to edit your page, track donations, and update your personal details.
Now you are ready to fundraise! You can share your unique CrowdRaiser link to start collecting donations for a cause that is important to you.
