How do I deactivate or reactivate a CrowdRaiser?

You can deactivate or reactivate your CrowdRaiser through your MyGiving account.

Deactivate a CrowdRaiser

1. Log in to MyGiving.
2. Go to My CrowdRaisers, located under CrowdRaisers in the left-hand menu. Select Edit next to the CrowdRaiser you want to deactivate.
   
3. Update the Closing Date and Time so that it is in the past.
   
4. Select Update. The system will deactivate the CrowdRaiser at 11:30 pm that evening. You will receive an email confirmation when this is done.

Reactivate a CrowdRaiser

1. Log in to MyGiving.
2. Go to My CrowdRaisers, located under CrowdRaisers in the left-hand menu. Select Edit next to the CrowdRaiser you want to reactivate.
3. Update the Closing Date and Time so that it is in the future.
4. Select Update.
5. Return to My CrowdRaisers and select Reactivate next to the CrowdRaiser.
   

Note: Organisations can also deactivate a CrowdRaiser through OrgHQ. See How do I stop a CrowdRaiser from fundraising for a cause? However, organisations cannot reactivate CrowdRaisers — only the CrowdRaiser creator can do this.
