When you choose to donate anonymously, your name will not appear publicly on the cause or CrowdRaiser page. Instead, your donation will be displayed as "Anonymous" under Recent Donations. You can select this option during the donation process by selecting I want to keep my donation anonymous on the contact details step.
What information is still shared?
Even when you donate anonymously, GiveNow and the organisation that receives your donation will still receive your contact details (name, email, and any other information you provided during the donation process). This information is required to process your donation, issue a receipt, and comply with Australian anti-money laundering regulations.
Choosing to be anonymous only affects how your name is displayed publicly — it does not hide your details from the organisation.
