GiveNow issues EOFY donation summaries at the end of the financial year. These summaries and receipts are available to donors through their MyGiving account.
Issuing EOFY receipts
- Shortly after the end of financial year (typically ~1 week into the new financial year), GiveNow emails a consolidated tax receipt to donors that lists all donations on GiveNow for the financial year.
- For donations to organisations that have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, this receipt will be in a format appropriate for tax deduction claims.
- For donations to organisations that do not have DGR status, the receipt will serve as a general transaction statement.
Past receipts are located in MyGiving
Past receipts can be found in MyGiving in the Donations > View Donations section. All EOFY receipts (since 2017) issued to your email address are listed at the bottom of the screen.
Note: Only GiveNow can generate EOFY summaries for donors; organisations are unable to generate these summaries themselves.
