GiveNow automatically sends you a PDF receipt by email as soon as your donation payment has been confirmed. You do not need to do anything to receive it.
For donations to organisations with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, the receipt is formatted for tax deduction claims. For donations to organisations without DGR status, the receipt serves as a general transaction statement. To check whether your donation is tax deductible, see Will my donation be tax deductible?
Note: Some organisations choose to issue their own receipts instead of using GiveNow's automatic receipts. In this case, GiveNow will still send you an email confirming the transaction, but the receipt itself will come directly from the organisation.
Find your receipts in MyGiving
All your donation receipts are available in your MyGiving account at any time.
- Log in to MyGiving.
- Go to View Donations, located under Donations in the left-hand menu.
- To download a receipt for a specific donation, select the three-dot menu to the right of the donation and select Receipt.
End of financial year tax summary
In addition to individual donation receipts, GiveNow emails a consolidated tax summary at the end of each financial year listing all your donations for that year. For more details, see Does GiveNow issue an EOFY tax summary?
Your past EOFY tax summaries are also available in MyGiving. On the View Donations page, scroll to the bottom to find them listed by financial year. Select Receipt next to the year you need.
Need to change the name on a receipt?
Due to the requirements around tax deductible receipts, GiveNow cannot change the original transaction details on a receipt, including the donor name. However, GiveNow can add an additional name to the receipt for business or "on behalf of" purposes. The updated receipt will specify that the donation was received "on behalf of" the new name.

Have not received your receipt?
If you have not received a receipt by email, check your spam or junk folder — automated emails can sometimes end up there. If you still cannot find it, you can download it from MyGiving or contact GiveNow at service@givenow.com.au and we will help.
