If your membership is set to automatic renewal, it will renew at the end of each membership period without any action from you. Your credit card will be charged for the upcoming period automatically.
For annual memberships, GiveNow will send you a reminder two weeks before the payment is due to be processed.
If your credit card is due to expire before your next renewal date, GiveNow will email you a reminder to update your payment details. You may receive up to two reminders: one when your card expires, and one 14 days before your renewal if the card will expire before that date.
Note: If an organisation increases the price of a membership, the organisation is responsible for communicating this to existing members. Your renewal will be charged at the new price.
Note: One-off or lifetime memberships do not automatically renew.
If your renewal payment fails
GiveNow will attempt to process a failed membership payment three times on consecutive days. If all three attempts fail, you will need to update your credit card details in MyGiving to pay for and reactivate your membership. Your original member anniversary date will not change.
Note: If a membership has expired for more than 12 months, updating your credit card details will trigger renewals for the missed periods. These payments will be processed on consecutive days.
