If you would like to stop your membership from renewing automatically and instead renew it manually each period, you will need to cancel your current membership and sign up again with the manual renewal option.
Cancel your auto-renewal membership
- Log in to MyGiving.
- Go to My Memberships, located under Memberships in the left-hand menu.
- Select Manage next to the auto-renewing membership you want to change.
- Select Cancel membership.
The system will confirm the date that your membership will expire, which will be the last day of the membership period you have already paid for.
Sign up for a manual renewal membership
- Once your auto-renewal membership is cancelled, select the link on the confirmation page to return to the membership form.
- Complete the membership registration and payment process again, making sure to choose the Manual Renewal option.
Note: Your new manual membership will need to be renewed by you each period. You will receive reminder emails before your membership expires. For more on how renewals work, see How does the auto-renewal process work?
