When making a one-off donation, you can send a gift card to someone to let them know about your donation. Gift cards can be sent as a direct email to the recipient or downloaded as a PDF that you can forward or print. Gift cards are not available for regular donations, but you can notify someone of a regular donation during the donation process.
Note: Some organisations do not have donation gift cards enabled. If you do not see the gift card option during the donation process, the organisation has chosen not to offer it.
Send a gift card with a donation
- On the donation form, select your donation amount and frequency, then select Donate.

Enter your contact details. Select Send a card with this donation (on next step), then select Next.
- On the gift card page, choose your delivery method: Printable PDF or Email. If you select Email, you will also be asked to enter the recipient's email address and a send date.

Select an image for your card: select Upload a file to use your own image, or Select a template to choose from the available designs.
- Enter a message for the card, then select Next to continue to payment and complete your donation. Your gift card will be sent or made available for download after the donation is confirmed.
Note: Gift cards cannot be added to a donation after it has been made.

Resend a gift card
If you need to resend a gift card (for example, if the recipient did not receive it or you want to send it to a different person), you can download it from your MyGiving account.
- Log in to MyGiving.
- Go to View Donations, located under Donations in the left-hand menu.

Select the three-dot menu to the right of the donation and select Gift Card to download the PDF.
- Email the PDF directly to the recipient.
