A donor who paid by credit card can have their donation refunded via the GiveNow system if the funds have not yet been remitted to the organisation.
If a donor contacts GiveNow and requests a refund of a donation made to your organisation through GiveNow, we will endeavour to help out.
If the funds have not been remitted to the organisation in the monthly remittance process, the donated funds can be refunded by GiveNow to the donor's credit card.
However, if the donation has been made by the direct debit payment method, this cannot be refunded.
The donor may request a refund from your organisation when:
- The funds have been remitted to the organisation.
- The donor paid for their donation via direct debit
Whether your organisation chooses to complete the refund is subject to your policies.
