he person who controls a CrowdRaiser page is the person who has access to the registered email address. Once logged in using that email address, they can edit all elements of the CrowdRaiser page — images, text, target, and everything associated with the page. They can also see all donations made to their CrowdRaiser and any messages left by donors.
The registered email could be:
- The individual's own email address (the most common scenario).
- A parent or guardian's email address, where the person fundraising is a minor.
- A teacher or program coordinator's email address, where the person fundraising is a minor who is part of a school or youth organisation.
The person controlling the CrowdRaiser page cannot access or alter anything related to the organisation and cause that the CrowdRaiser is connected to. This means they cannot edit the organisation's name, the cause name, the overall cause target, or the organisation's bank account details.
Organisations cannot edit a supporter's CrowdRaiser page content. However, organisations can stop a CrowdRaiser from fundraising for their cause, and can require CrowdRaiser pages to be reviewed and approved before they go live.
