Creating a CrowdRaiser is also a learning opportunity to engage young people in how to safely present themselves online.
Consideration of who has control of the CrowdRaiser page means that boundaries can be well managed. For example, a parent, guardian, or teacher can register the CrowdRaiser using their own email address, giving them full control over the page content while the young person participates in the fundraising.
