We take security of your data very seriously and take all steps possible to maintain your privacy. Our team have carefully built a system with integrity, so that today we can say we are confident in our security measures that protect the donors who use our system.
Firstly, we have always maintained our secure TLS protocols and PCI compliance and conducted external security audits of our systems. We monitor our systems 24x7 and are automatically alerted on suspicious behaviour, including IP checks.
We encrypt all sensitive personal data and delete data that is no longer required to meet business operations. All donor data is securely stored in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Australian data centres only. No donor data is stored or handled off-shore.
Donors are able to access multi-factor authentication to protect their personal data on the GiveNow platform.
Our system administration requires multi-factor authentication and access is limited to within the GiveNow Melbourne office. All data in stored within Australia at all times.
Importantly, we do NOT hold re-useable payment information of donors at all in our system. Regular donors will be able to view masked data of payment details only, as this is the only payment information we have available in our database.
It is important for all donors to note that we will never:
- contact you via text message or phone, seeking more information about your personal and payment details. We will only communicate in written form via email that is registered with us. It will include a link to update payment details on www.givenow.com.au/my-giving only. Existing payment details will be masked.
- ask for your password details.
