GiveNow prioritises the security of your data, whether you are an organisation or a supporter. Our platform is designed with robust security measures to protect your information.
Security measures
- PCI compliance: GiveNow meets strict payment industry standards for handling card data.
- Encryption: Sensitive data is encrypted to prevent unauthorised access. Data that is no longer needed is permanently deleted.
- IP monitoring: Automated checks detect and block suspicious activity.
- 24/7 monitoring: Automatic alerts flag suspicious behaviour around the clock.
- Multi-factor authentication: Available for all users (organisations and supporters). See How do I set up multi-factor authentication (MFA)?
- Data localisation: All data is stored exclusively in Australian-based Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centres. No data is stored or handled offshore.
- No stored payment details: GiveNow does not store reusable payment information. Donors and organisations can only view masked payment details.
