At GiveNow, we’ve always worked hard to keep fees as low as possible.
There are two types of fees associated with a transaction on GiveNow:
- Credit Card Merchant fees: These reflect the payment type used by a donor: Visa, Mastercard, AMEX (available 5 days after cause approval), ApplePay, or direct debit.
- Platform fees: These correspond to the specific plan under which an organisation is registered with GiveNow. Each plan offers distinct features tailored to the organisation's needs.
There are no set-up fees or ongoing subscription fees.

The credit card merchant transaction fees reflect exactly the wholesale fee we receive from our payments partner. From 20 May, 2021 the merchant fees will be: Donations made to DGR organisation:

*Platform fee cover enables donors to cover the platform fee at the time of payment. Our research shows that, when offered, the majority of people choose to cover the fee.
