GiveNow event purchase forms can be embedded on your website using a snippet of code to launch an iFrame on your website. Your organisations must be registered for the Pro plan to embed your Event form.
To register for GiveNow Embed
- Login to OrgHQ.
- Go to Manage Events, under Events in the OrgHQ menu.
- Find the Active Event that you want to Embed on your website.
- Use the dropdown menu to the right of the Edit button and select Embed.
- Enter the domain of your website where you will embed your event purchase form and Submit.
- Copy and paste the code in the appropriate section of your HTML document, ensuring the height of the frame is tall enough so you do not experience a scroll bar for donors. (If you customise your payment process, the height of the frame needed may change to reflect the data captured at each step.)
Please note that you will not be able to use the form on any other websites. It is strictly for use on the domain name registered with us.
To retrieve the embed code after registration
- Login to OrgHQ.
- Go to Manage Events, under Events in the OrgHQ menu.
- Find the Active Event purchase form that you want to Embed on your website.
- Use the dropdown menu to the right of the Edit button and select Embed.
- You will then see a pop-up box with the code that you can copy and paste into your webpage as an iFrame. This code is active and will operate immediately as long as your Event remains active.
