GiveNow Pro Plan users are able to customise the payment form for their Cause when so that when they embed the form it suits the look and feel of the organisation's website.
The following outlines the look of the new style embed form launched on April 2025. To switch your embed form to this new style, see here. Users with the old style can also follow these instructions.
To start, select to edit the embed form
- Login to OrgHQ.
- Go to Manage Causes, located under Cause & Donations in the OrgHQ menu.
- Select Edit for the Cause you have an Embed form that has been approved.
What can be customised
The following elements that are able to be customised in the embed form:
1. Regular donation intervals
If you want to create a regular giving campaign for specific regular donation periods, you can opt-out of the donation interval options: One-off, Daily, Fortnightly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually.
Donation frequency customisation is done through Donation Form > Amount section.
A default donation frequency can also be set. The updated new form will look like this:
2. Suggested donation amounts
Organisations can change of the suggested donation amounts (minimum $5, maximum $10,000) to suit your campaign ask.
Donation amounts customisation is done through Donation Form > Amount section. Click to "Enable custom values".
Select the default amount from the Default donation amount drop down list. The updated new form will look like this:
3. Font styles and colours
See Donation Form > General section.
Users can select the colour for the form button and text colour, for the primary and secondary options.
The updated new form will look like this for a primary colour change only:
Changing the secondary button colour will change the form to look like this:
And then the form becomes much more colourful:
Organisations who are approved to use Embed can customise the font type by progressing to Embedded donation form then Font.
4. Images and Descriptions
To add more context to your suggested donation amounts, you can add images and descriptions for each amount by going to Donation Form > Descriptions & images and selecting Show descriptions and/or images with donation amounts. You are then asked to populate each suggested amount with a title, description and image.

5. Additional questions
You are able to include in the transaction page questions for your donor that can be either single choice, multiple choice or text answers. These will appear at the bottom of the second page, underneath the contact details.
Donation questions customisation is done through Donation Form > Questions.
6. Data collected and number of steps
We will always collect from all donors and supporters the first name, last name and email address.
You are able to reduce the friction of your embed form by:
- In the Contact section, reduce the number of data fields requested of donors by deselecting Title, Phone and / or Address.
- In the Questions section, reduce the payment steps by deselecting the options Notification, Card, Note, Additional Questions.
7. Confirmation page thank you message
In the General section, edit the text in the Thank you message box to customise the message displayed after a donation.
For users of the new embed form, you are also able to add a custom "thank you" image on the final page of the process, once a donation has been confirmed as successful. In the General section, upload an image in the Thank you page image box.
