When you need to reset a cause thermometer to zero at the start of a new fundraising period, or would like to include donations received for the campaign through sources external to collections through GiveNow, you can adjust the displayed amount.
To adjust the thermometer:
1. Log in to OrgHQ, go to your dashboard and click on your organisation name.
2. Go to Causes & Donations > Manage Causes, and click 'Settings' next to the cause you are updating (see the FAQ How do I edit an existing cause if you are having trouble finding the page).
3. In the '1. General' tab, make sure 'Display Raised Amount' box is ticked, and ensure a target amount is entered. This amount needs to be greater than zero and greater than the amount raised to display.
4. Enter a whole amount in the 'Funds Raised Offline' field. This should be the amount you have collected externally from GiveNow.
5. If you wish to display less than you have collected for your cause (for example, setting the progress bar to zero if it is the start of a new fundraising period), precede the amount with a minus (-) symbol, and enter the amount raised to date.
